The Carl I. Aslakson papers, 1864-1980.

Contains: Correspondence (1941-1980); newspaper clippings and speeches (1946); manuscript on life, career and travels of Aslakson; SHORAN system reports (1946-47); a scrapbook on Aslakson's exploits in surveying and triangulation (1929-40) and another on his research on SHORAN position finding (1946-1954). Typed manuscript memoirs of Bjorn Aslakson (9th Minnesota Volunteer Infantry) describing his life in various Confederate prisons during the Civil War; published memoir of Rev. Ole Paulson (1850-1885) and of Marian Aslakson on her life in the Philippines (1928).
